Construction is a dangerous industry, with over 800 fatalities each year. OSHA’s Standard 1926 governs safety requirements for the construction industry and requires employers to provide training on topics such as hazard communication, fall protection, personal protective equipment, trenching & shoring safety, work zone safety, scaffolding set up and use, along with other topics such as large equipment safety.
